Corcoran Police

Arrests

Corcoran Police reported a trespassing arrest Monday, June 8, at 9:25 p.m. in the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. Arrested was John Michael Creighton, 31, of no fixed address, for trespassing. Creighton was cited and left the property.

Corcoran Police reported a domestic arrest Monday, June 8, at 11:23 p.m. in the 19900 block of Dassell Lane. Arrested was Harman, Matthew Pierce Harman, 40, of Corcoran for domestic assault.

Corcoran Police reported a vehicle theft arrest Tuesday, June 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the 23200 block of Highway 55. Arrested was Garrick Robert Sneed, 46, of Dexter, Minn. for theft.

Personal Injury / Property Damage Accident/Incident

The department reported a personal injury accident Tuesday, June 9, at 2:34 p.m. in the area of County Road 116 and Larkin Road. Large crane truck was northbound on County Road 116 when one of the front tires blew. Vehicle exited the roadway to the left side. Vehicle drove through the ditch and took out several pine trees. Driver had minor injuries from seat belt.

The department reported a property damage incident Tuesday, June 9, at 6:58 p.m. in the 19200 block of Annabelle Lane. The reporting party stated the lawn service they hired tore up a portion of their yard with a commercial grade mower. The yard had new sod.

The department reported a property damage accident Wednesday, June 10, at 12:06 p.m. in the area of 19900 block of County Road 10. The reporting party stated they were driving east on County Road 10 when a deer ran out in front of their vehicle.

The department reported a property damage accident Saturday, June 13, at 9:56 p.m. in the 6600 block of County Road 19. Vehicle was northbound County Road 19 when the deer went westbound on County Road 19 and was struck.

Theft

Theft of identity was reported Monday, June 8 at 11:43 a.m. in the 20200 block of Abilene Lane. The reporting party stated an unknown suspect stole their identity to apply for unemployment benefits.

The department responded to a medical emergency Monday, June 8, at 7:58 p.m. in the 20900 block of Hidden Ponds Drive. The Officers assisted Paramedics/Ambulance.

Miscellaneous

The department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle Tuesday, June 9, at 8:51 a.m. in the 7500 block of Commerce Street. The reporting party stated there was a suspicious vehicle sitting in the parking lot. The reporting party asked the male sitting in the vehicle what they were doing, and the male said he was eating his lunch. It was reported the same male was in a neighboring business two weeks ago and said he was eating his lunch at that time as well. The male left the area after contact with the reporting parties. No contact with police at this time.

The department responded to a report of domestic on the roadway Tuesday, June 9, at 12:01 p.m. The reporting party stated they passed a domestic on the shoulder of the road. Parties were located in Medina. Medina PD advised verbal domestic only.

The department responded to a report of a civil matter Wednesday, June 10, at 4:59 p.m. in the 9300 block of Cherry Lane. The reporting party wanted a call about retrieving a phone from his ex-wife. She had taken it away from their daughter. Advised it was a civil issue, and we could not go into Maple Grove and demand she give him the phone. At 7:20 p.m. the ex-wife reported the ex-husband took their dogs and her son was very upset. She went to the ex-husband’s house to go get the dogs. She brought the phone that the ex-husband wanted. They made a deal - phone for the dogs. Both parties happy at this time.

The department responded to a report of a missing person Thursday, June 11, at 9:25 a.m. in the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. The reporting party stated their boyfriend has been missing since Monday. She said they had been fighting and their car broken down in Shakopee and he walked to go get help and never came back.

The department responded to a report of a juvenile issue Thursday, June 11, at 6:14 p.m. in the 9300 block of Bechtold Road. The Officers spoke with two juveniles about breaking a door trying to get into the house. Officers spoke with the juveniles about actions, consequences and responsibilities.

The department responded to a report of gas odor Friday, June 12, at 6:25 p.m. in the 20100 Hillside Drive. The reporting party stated a gas line was struck approximately 18 inches from a locator spot. Xcel Energy came out and repaired the line.

The department responded to a report of OFP violation Friday, June 12, at 8:35 p.m. in the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. The reporting party stated an old girlfriend continues to text him and he has an OFP against her. He was unable to provide the OFP paperwork to the Officer. The reporting party just wants her to stop texting him.

The department responded to a report of a suspicious act Saturday, June 13, at 9:09 p.m. in the 6500 Old Settlers Road. The reporting party stated there was a vehicle parked on the road with its flashers on. The Officer found it was some high school kids taking photos of the sunset.

The department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle Monday, June 15, at 4:04 a.m. in the 19100 block of 101st Place N. The Officer observed a vehicle pulling into the Bellwether housing complex. Officer found it to be a cleaner for the model homes.

Tuesday, June 9

Theft by Swindle: Dispatched to theft by swindle on Craigslist in the 600 block of Lilium Trail. Forwarded to investigations.

Scam: Dispatched to report of a male claiming to be from the FBI stating financial accounts were compromised in the 3100 block of Lakeshore Avenue. Male requested reporting party to get gift cards to pay. Forwarded to investigations.

Wednesday, June 10

Fire: Dispatched to appliance fire in the 4500 block of Willow Drive. Fire was out prior to arrival.

Theft: Dispatched to theft of “slow down” sign from residence in the 4600 block of Brockton Lane.

DWI: 35-year-old male arrested for second degree DWI Refusal at State Highway 55 and Dogwood Street.

Saturday, June 13

Trespassing/Disturbance: Dispatched to report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance in the 1300 block of County Road 29. Male was advised to leave.

Rogers Police

Monday, June 15

Officer observed two suspicious vehicles drive into City Hall together. Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicles and learned that the occupants of both were juvenile males out past curfew. One of the driver’s did not have a license. This juvenile was cited for not having a driver’s license. The other juveniles were cited for curfew violations.

Tuesday, June 16

Officer was dispatched to a traffic complaint that initially began on Interstate 94 and exited Rogers where it pulled into a gas station. Another complaint was made at the gas station while the vehicle left and struck a street sign. The driver, a 28-year-old, exited the vehicle and left the scene on foot but was located in a nearby parking lot. The male was subsequently arrested for DWI and submitted to a test at the Rogers Police Department. A citation was issued for fourth degree DWI and the male was released.

Officers were dispatched to a threat at a park in the 13600 block of Bittersweet Lane. A confrontation ensued over dog feces not being cleaned up and a male was reported to have pulled out a baton and threatened the other party. Officers arrived on scene and detained the male. After investigation, both parties agreed that an apology would suffice and the victim did not want to press charges.

Thursday, June 18

Officers were called to a heroin overdose at a hotel in the 21000 block of 134th Avenue, where a bystander called in stating the male overdosed on heroin and she had already administered Narcan. Officers arrived and provided lifesaving efforts to include three additional doses of Narcan, before the male regained consciousness. Two loaded syringe needles and a methamphetamine pipe were recovered from the room.

Officers responded to a driving complaint on westbound Interstate 94 from Main Street. The suspect vehicle was reportedly driving extremely slow, weaving and nearly struck a semi-truck. Officers located and stopped the vehicle. The driver, a 24-year-old male, showed signs of impairment on SFSTs, PBT of .156. Approximately 1.4 pounds of raw marijuana and THC wax was located in packages in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the impound yard and driver transported to Rogers PD. Breath Test Refusal. Driver transported to jail.

Friday, June 19

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 12600 block of Main Street for a physical domestic. Officers took a 42-year-old male into custody for domestic assault-harm against two victims. Male was transported to the Hennepin County Jail.

Saturday, June 20

Citations issued to a 19-year-old female and an 18-year-old female for possession of drug paraphernalia. Verbal Warning for failing to maintain lane and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Sunday, June 21

Officer stopped vehicle for speed (62/50). Officer smelled strong odor of alcoholic beverage on driver’s breath, and saw that driver had bloodshot and watery eyes. Driver, a 29-year-old male, failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested. Vehicle was towed by Burda’s Towing. Driver was booked at Hennepin County Jail.

At 3675 Ihduhapi Trail, Vinland Center reported that a client from the Carlton County Jail has been coming to Vinland for their program. The client stated he has been feeling an increasing amount of paranoia and anxiety. North Memorial EMS transported him to the hospital.

On June 15, Michael James Harrison, 43, of Minneapolis, was arrested in Anoka County on a Wright County warrant for a felon in possession of a firearm violation.

On June 15, Michael Lee Rocco Hansen-Maier, 32, of St. Paul, was arrested in Hennepin County on a Wright County warrant for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance violation.

On June 15, Jason James Martin, 55, of Rockford, was arrested in Rockford on a Wright County warrant for violation of a harassment restraining order.

On June 17, Alexander Phillip Otto, 31, of Buffalo, was arrested in Rockford Township on the charge of domestic assault.

On June 17, Christopher Robert Anderson, 48, of Delano, was arrested in Delano on the charge of violation of an order for protection.

On June 18, Rachel Marie Taylor, 36, of Mounds View, was arrested in Hennepin County on Wright County and Sherburne County warrants for financial transaction card fraud use.

On June 18, Debra June Anderson, 48, of Buffalo, was arrested in Albion Township on the charge of 3rd degree DWI.

On June 18, Chell Christopher Luesse, 60, of St. Bonifacius, was arrested in Maple Lake Township on the charges of 3rd degree DWI and possession of a firearm while under the influence.

On June 20, Andrew Roy Olson, 31, of Hanover, was arrested in Montrose on the charge of 5th degree criminal sexual conduct.

On June 20, Ismael Yannick Toovi, 20, of Cambridge, was arrested in Buffalo on the charges of 5th degree sale and possession of a controlled substance.

On June 20, Kyle Gregory Payne, 35, of Maple Lake, was arrested in Maple Lake on Wright County warrants for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree DWI refusal to test and 2nd degree DWI violations.

On June 22, Brian Michael Johnsted, 51, of Zimmerman, was arrested in Delano on the charge of 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.

Miscellaneous

There were 15 property damage accidents, seven personal injury accidents, two hit and run accidents and four car-deer accidents. There were four arrests for DWI, 10 underage consumption arrests, no school bus stop arm violations and 69 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.
