On Aug. 2, the Dayton Farmers Market hosted a one-day marketplace for kid entrepreneurs.
About a dozen children ages 6 to 14 participated in the Acton Children’s Business Fair of Minnesota and showcased and sold original creations, products and services. Attendees who stopped by Raintree Plaza last Friday, were greeted with children vendors selling handmade jewelry, homemade treats, bath bombs, candles, fishing lures, stationary and more.
The business fair was held in conjunction with the Dayton Farmers Market, which will continue to run every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. until Sept. 27. In addition to support from the Dayton Farmers Market, the business fair event was also sponsored by Acton Academy, Acton School of Business, Dayton Lions Club, Maple Grove Lions Club, Huttner Enterprises, Healing Menagerie Acres, Our Inner Warrior, Spread Joy and Love and local volunteer support.
