The Little Falls VFW baseball team split a pair of 4-3 games to Foley at home, Tuesday.
In the first game, a seven-inning league contest, the Flyers walked off after a one-out single from Charlie Smieja drove in Ben Knopik for the game-winner in the bottom of the ninth.
Knopik was the starting pitcher, and allowed just three runs on four hits in six innings. Offensively, he finished 3-for-4.
Beau Thomas went 2-for-3, and Smieja earned the win on the mound.
The two teams agreed to a three inning exhibition for the second game, and this time Foley came out on top, 4-3.
Amby Ploof went 2-for-2 in the loss, while Abram Thoma, Aaron Marod and Beau Thoma all had a single.
Little Falls VFW is 12-7 for the season, and 6-4 in league play. The Flyers hosted Pequot Lakes, Thursday, but results were not available by press time.
