For the 14th year, runners took part in the Platte River Run K Saturday, Aug. 3.
A total of 50 runners took part in the race, which was finished first by Peter Borash, 28, Royalton, who finished in 19:52.
The top female finisher was 13 year old Ashley Nelson, Sartell, who was also second overall with a finish of 21:37.
Third place and top racer in the 51+ category was David Hartz, 62, Cold Spring, who finished in 21:55.
Angie Bruns was the second female and four overall finisher with a 23:35. Amanda Panek rounded out the top five and was the third female with a time of 23:40.
Wyatt Betsinger, 10, Pierz, was the top finisher in the male 1-17 category at 26:58, but Nelson was the top overall in the category.
Borash was the top finisher in the 18-35 category, but Jordan Schuett, 21, Little Falls, was the top female finisher in the age group with a time of 26:00.
Bruns was first overall in the 36-50 age group, but Daniel Price, Arvada, Colorado, was the top male in the age group with a time of 23:40.
Finally, Hartz was the top overall in the 51-99 age group, but the top female in the category was Janet Hauge, Little Falls, who finished in 23:44, which was also sixth overall.
Rounding out the top 10 were: 7. Price, 8. Aaron Nelson, 43, 24:26, 9. Logan Schuett, 19, 25:03, Erin Scapanski, Sauk Rapids, 25:23.
