To the Editor:

Due to the recent weather storm, a large amount of trees fell, but more importantly there were power outages across almost the entire town. My family had two trees that fell down in our yard, and the power went out at 10 a.m. for us.

I want to commend the efficient work of the power line workers. They came to town shortly after noon and I saw them down the street working on a heavily damaged power line. Our power came back on within six hours of going out, at 3:30 p.m. I know these emergency situations are a trained part of their job, but their haste makes a large difference, especially when they are responsible for multiple towns.

I am glad to have them help our town in our time of need. — Axel Johnson, Upsala
