To the Editor:

Psalm 37:30-34 “The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. 33 Yehovah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 Wait on Yehovah, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see.”

A wise person is one who has studied the teachings of Scripture and knows what is right and wrong. Knowing it, we need to be able to speak out when we see the wicked doing wrong and warn others not to follow them for their time of judgment will come. All of Psalm 37 gives a message of hope and judgment.

Are we righteous in following the teachings of our Creator or will we be considered to be among the wicked? — James Steinle, Swanville
