Helen L. Doucette, 72-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the St. Benedict’s Therapy Suites in Sartell, MN. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Burial will take place at a later date. Helen Lorraine Englehart was born on September 27, 1947 in Little Falls, MN to the late John and Jeanette (Heinz) Englehart. She was united in marriage to Allen Doucette and they resided in Little Falls where they raised their two sons, Jayme and Cliff. Helen operated a home daycare for many years and was also employed at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls as a nurses aid for 10 years, until declining health caused her to retire. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidering and making quilts. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, loved the Lord and knew where she was going. Helen was caring, kind, had a heart of gold and put others before herself. Helen is survived by her sons, Jayme (Kirsten) Doucette of Becker, MN and Cliff (Melissa) Doucette of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Jimmy (Susie) Englehart of Cushing, MN, Patrick Englehart of Minneapolis, MN, Randy (Dee Dee) Englehart of Cushing, MN, Robert Englehart of Cushing, MN; sisters, Mary Ann Goering of Merrifield, MN, Shirley Carper of Baxter, MN, Jacqueline (Boone) Janey of Little Falls, MN, and Kandy (Dan) Saulter of Little Falls, MN; and three grandchildren, who she loved dearly, Callie, Mason and Madison Doucette. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jeanette Englehart; brothers, Jeffrey and Rudy; and her husband, Allen.
