Heriberto Rosado Vega, 21, Little Falls, is facing a felony fifth degree drug possession charge in Morrison County District Court.
The charge stemmed from a June 29 incident, when an officer with the Little Falls Police Department stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation and identified the driver as Vega.
The officer allegedly smelled marijuana in the vehicle and asked Vega to step out of the vehicle and empty his pockets.
Vega allegedly removed two baggies, one of which contained a white powder he called “coco.”
The substance allegedly tested positive as cocaine and weighed 2.6 grams with packaging.
If convicted, Vega could face up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
