Zachary “Zach” Roses is from Rice and was diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure at the age of 21. He is currently on the kidney transplant list.

Roses’ younger brother has already been through this process. The disease itself is rare and to have two in one family is heartbreaking for the family,.

A benefit is being planned to help raise funds for recovery time, time lost from work and medical expenses related to the transplant.

The benefit will be held Saturday, June 29, at Rollie’s, 940 35th Ave. NE, Sauk Rapids. Dinner will be served from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., with a silent auction running from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
