Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen is seeking the public’s help in finding a person of interest in a reported sexual assault near Royalton.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible sexual assault near Royalton Monday, July 22, about 11:12 a.m. The Sheriff’s Office said a 39-year-old female from Sartell, met with an officer from the Royalton Police Department and stated she was sexually assaulted.
During the initial investigation, it was determined the assault took place outside the Royalton city limits. The case was turned over to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office where it is actively being investigated.
At this time, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a white male, approximately 6-foot, 2-inches tall to 6-foot, 4-inches tall, weighing approximately 240 pounds with brown hair and a beard. The man was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt and was last seen walking on North Evergreen Street in Royalton between 5 a.m. – 6 a.m., July 22.
The Sheriff’s Office has limited information concerning the man involved.
