The Monticello High School swimming and diving team headed to Becker on Thursday, Oct. 3 to wave in another win, 95-83.
In the 200-yard relay Lorna Belchak, Grace Farsnworth, Emerson Brooks, and Jade Kopff took first place with a time of 1:59.52.
Farnsworth went solo in the 200-yard freestyle and won with a time of 2:06.42.
Three Monti swimmers finished first in the 200-yard IM, Belchak (2:25.74), Hadley Branson (2:36.94), and Alexis Welle (2:43.21).
Kopff (27.55) and Juanel Roux (27.61) took first and second in the 50-yard freestyle.
In the 100-yard butterfly Kopff swam for first again with a final time of 1:08.73.
Roux took another first place prize in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:01.46 and McKena Biegler followed her with a time of 1:01.94.
In the 500-yard freestyle Brooks blew the competition out of the water with a time of 5:57.29.
Julia Danielson, Farnsworth, Roux, and Brooks teamed up for first in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
The team hits the Monticello pool tonight at 6 p.m. against Cambridge-Isanti.
