I94 crash 3-1-18 MT

A one-vehicle rollover Thursday, March 1 resulted in the closure of the right lane of eastbound Interstate 94 about two miles west of Monticello at mile marker 191. In the photo above, Monticello firefighters work the scene of the crash. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 4:35 on March 1, a SUV rolled a few times into the right ditch of eastbound I-94. The vehicle landed on its side but did not block traffic. The driver of the vehicle, unidentified by the State Patrol, suffered non-life-threatening injuries but was not transported from the scene by ambulance. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Monticello Towing. The Wright County Sheriff’s Department and Monticello Fire Department assisted at the scene.
