Minnco Credit Union volunteers and staff attended a ceremony on November 5, 2019, to commemorate the groundbreaking of their new branch office in Big Lake. Big Lake mayor Mike Wallen, along with close to twenty city officials, chamber members, and other dignitaries, were also on hand for the ceremony.
The new full-service office is located at 613 Rose Drive and is expected to open in May 2020. It will be Minnco’s sixth office.
“This project has been almost two years in the making,” said Doug Hallstrom, President and CEO of Minnco Credit Union. “We’re excited to finally be breaking ground, and look forward to serving the people of Big Lake.”
After the groundbreaking ceremony, Minnco employees spread kindness throughout the community by presenting $20 bills to area residents, part of their Minnco Moments initiative.
