These past two weeks have been very busy and fun for the Orono girls Varsity golf team. On Monday, May 13 they played their last conference match of the season at Crow River GC in Hutchinson. The girls finished the conference season in second place.

Camille Kuznik and Alayna Eichstadt were named all conference award winners. Kuznik earned first place in the conference and Eichstadt was fourth.

Then on Tuesday, May 14 the girls won a duel match against Delano at Baker National.

On Thursday, May 16 the Varsity team traveled to Bunker Hills GC. The team finished 12 of 22 teams.

Camille Kuznik shot a 76 which put her in sixth place.

The following week, on Monday, May 20 the section team for Orono played in a tournament at Ridges at Sand Creek. The team finished eight of 13 teams and Camille Kuznik received 2nd place shooting a score of 74.

Also on Monday, May 20 the other Varsity girls traveled to Albion Ridges for an 18 hole invitational. This team finished ninth of 10 teams.

The girls traveled to Annandale for a nine hole best ball tournament on Wednesday, May 22. Camille Kuznik and Alayna Eichstadt played as a team together, Liz Gibson and Meg Larson played together and Bridget Kringen and Josie Raiche played as a team. Kuznik and Eichstadt tied for first place shooting a score of one under par. Bridget Kringen and Josie Raiche shot 11 over par.

Next week, on Wednesday, May 29 the girls will be competing in the first day of the section tournament at Ridges at Sand Creek GC. The girls look forward to the rest of their season.
