To the editor,

I would like thank everyone who made Night to Unite in Maple Plain a successes. It was a beautiful evening spent together at Veteran’s Memorial Park getting to know our neighbors and sharing a meal with one another.

A special thank you to Monie’s, Fork Less and BSQ’s BBQ for providing the delicious meal and to Christ Lutheran Church for sponsoring the bouncy house. A big thank you to all our city event sponsors: Westonka Jaycee’s, McGarry’s Pub, Tri-K Sports, Randy’s Sanitation, Bagy Jo, Inc. Carlson Wellness and Kathy Archer, Ltd - without their support events like this would not happen.

A heartfelt thanks to West Hennepin Public Safety and the Maple Plain Fire Department for making an appearance as well. The police car and fire truck are always a hit, especially with the kids and kid’s at heart.

We hope to see all of you at our next city event; Movie in the Park at Rainbow Park at 8 p.m. Bring your chairs and blankets, we will be watching Mary Poppins Returns and popcorn will be provided compliments of our city events sponsors.

Julie Maas-Kusske

Mayor of Maple Plain
