Gerald John Krueger, 95, of Maple Grove, MN, passed away and went on to Heaven, August 30, 2019. He was born in Orono, MN, May 27, 1924 to Hugo and Clara Krueger and he grew up in Mound. Gerald served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years. He was a Lieutenant Commander, serving as a pilot in WWII. He then worked in the music business and later become a school bus driver. Gerald was a hard working man who always gave his best for those around him. He loved flying, traveling, music, fishing, woodworking, people, and most of all, he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Nathan, Nicole, Keith, and Faith; his sister, Rosemary; 9 grandchildren, Erika, Tawnya, April, Justin, Jody, Jake, Jared, Gideon, and Mia; 19 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, MN. He will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetary.
