The cupcake-shaped cookies, mini tacos and small bites that have defined Cookie Cups in Navarre are now available to cookie-lovers in the southwest metro.

The Cookie Cups opened its second location, off Market Street in Chanhassen’s downtown, Oct. 18 after months of renovations.

“It’s exciting to see new businesses come to town,” said Chanhassen Mayor Elisa Ryan. “There’s nothing like this here!”

Nicole Pomije started the Cookie Cups in her home kitchen five years ago and sold to markets in the Mound area and through her website. She opened the first Cookie Cups store at 3412 Shoreline Dr. in Navarre during spring of 2017 and has since expanded her menu from the first chocolate chip cookies to include mini tacos, mac and cheese, milkshakes and coffee; catering services and cooking classes. The Chan location adds pancakes to mix and also offers a separate tasting room for special events.

Hours for the new Chanhassen store will be the same as those for the Navarre location: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sunday.
