How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Children’s Theatre Company

Nov. 6, 2018 – Jan. 6, 2019

2400 3rd Ave., S., Minneapolis, MN 55404

A miserly and miserable, ever-so-cantankerous Grinch has witnessed the despicable Christmas joy of the W hos with disdain, from a distance, for decades. Enough! In this favorite holiday story, filled with music and Seussian rhymes, he conceives a dastardly plot to destroy what they love. It’s the smallest of the Whos tiny Cindy Lou, who extends a hand. Through the combination of kindness and community, we witness not only a change in the course of Who-History, but also the size and capacity of the old green guy’s heart.

Cost: $15-$80 per person depending on seating and time of show.

A Christmas Carol

The Guthrie

818 South 2nd St., Minneapolis, MN 55415

A miserly and miserable man, Ebenezer Scrooge greets each Christmas with a “bah humbug,” until he is visited one Christmas Eve by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. Through a restless night, the spirits show him happy memories from his past, cruel realities from the present and the grim future should he continue his cantankerous ways.

Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is a perennial favorite that continues our holiday tradition for the 43rd year. Now is the time to experience this cherished production with your loved ones!
