Washington County Library invites adults ages 19 and up to join the library for “10,000 Experiences at Your Library” as part of its adult summer reading program, which runs June 8 through August 10.

To participate, adult readers can pick up a game card at any Washington County Library location that instructs them to tackle series of challenges. Some examples include checking out an audiobook, visiting a Washington County Park, reading a graphic novel, or tasting a Minnesota delicacy.

The game card will also be available online beginning June 8 at www.WashCoLib.org/10K.

Participants who complete 6 of 15 challenges can return the game card to a Washington County Library location or submit it online to receive a completion prize. At the end of the program in August, all adults who completed the program will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a pair of tickets to the Minnesota State Fair or an annual Washington County Parks Pass.

This is the third year Washington County Library has challenged adults to make the most of their summer by checking out the library’s materials, resources, and events. In 2018, more than 700 participants picked up a game card. More information is available online at WashCoLib.org/10K.
