Forest Lake area residents dug out their shovels, snow blowers, and snowmobiles after another roughly 11” of snow fell last week during a storm that lasted from Tuesday afternoon through early Thursday morning, with a break in the action early Wednesday. Snowfall totals around the Twin Cities ranged from 13” to 16”. This winter, the Twin Cities has seen over 70” of snow fall, nearly 3 feet above average. Five years ago, the 10th snowiest winter on record wrapped up at about 78”.
