The Minnesota Department of Human Services will use feedback from a Chisago County citizen review panel to better understand and improve the state’s child welfare program. The state is seeking 21 Chisago County residents to become panel members.

The selected panel members will examine active and closed child welfare cases and provide insight to improve the outcomes; provide feedback to child protection system leaders; and participate in a national review panel. Individuals on the citizen review panel will hold their position for a four-year term and dedicate about five hours a month to panel meetings.
