The Forest Lake Lake Association will host its annual meeting for members and non-members at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at the Forest Lake Area High School Auditorium.
Attendees will learn about the health of the lake, current projects and hear from a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources representative to discuss the fish populations in Forest Lake. There will be a panel discussion and an open question and answer forum at the end of the meeting.
The St. Croix Valley Camera Club will host its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18 at the Chisago County Government Center. All photographers at different skill and experience levels are welcome to attend.
Barb Thompson, a professional pet photographer, will show attendees tips to take better photos of pets. She will discuss camera techniques and settings that are best suited to take photos of animals. Attendees should bring their own cameras.
If the weather is good, the group will go outside and practice using their cameras for half of the session.
