In 1992, Elk River High School tennis coach Randy Ronning and Curt Johnson began giving tennis lessons. More than 25 years later, their dream of opening a tennis club for the Elk River and Rogers area is about to be realized.

Andie Timpe secured a spot in the Class 2A state girls swimming and diving meet with a pair of top-two finishes for Rogers in the Section 7 meet Nov. 8-9 at St. Cloud Tech High School. Timpe was scheduled to compete at the state meet Nov. 14-16 at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.

The Rogers baseball team saw their magical postseason run come to an end on June 15 at CHS Field, losing to New Prague in the state semifinals 12-7 before dropping a third-place matchup to No. 1-seeded Stillwater 4-3.
