Run/walk to fight sex trafficking slated

The seventh annual Running For Justice 5K fun run/walk is an event that fights sex trafficking. It begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, with the run starting at 9:30 a.m. at Woodland Trails Regional Park, 20135 Elk Lake Road, Elk River. Speakers will be Dan and Trish Notley of Courageous Love and Stephanie Page of Stories Foundation.

All proceeds will go to prevent sex trafficking through education and awareness.

Cost is $35 through Aug. 16 or $40 the day of the race.
