As vaping has become more common among teenagers, illnesses and injuries have prompted calls for more restrictions.

The Sherburne County Substance Use Prevention Coalition and a host of other organizations are bringing a program to Elk River on  “Youth E-cigarette Use: Clearing the Cloud on Vaping.” It will run from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the District 728 office, 11500 193rd Ave., Elk River.

There will be a presentation from the American Lung Association and a panel of health care, law enforcement, school and parent representatives for questions and answers. Register at www.eventbrite.com/e/75336023073.
