A tubing incident on the Crow River in St. Michael claimed the life of a 64-year-old Maplewood man on July 6.
Wright County Communications Center received a 911 call about 5 p.m. reporting that a man had flipped over while tubing on the river and had not resurfaced.
The male was with two others when his tube reportedly hit a tree and flipped.
Wright County deputies responded to the area, which is near the 11000 block of 36th Circle NE in St Michael. The St. Michael Fire Department, Dayton Fire Department and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter were requested for assistance.
Wright County Boat and Water and the Wright County Dive Team also responded. After searching the area for several hours the body of male was recovered from the water. The man who drowned has been identified as Andrew Urbanski.
