Mix together for crust:

•50 Oreo cookies, crushed

•1/2 stick butter

Put a little more than 1/3 of crumbs in 13-by-9-inch pan. Put in fridge while making chocolate layer.

Chocolate layer:

•8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened) beat until real smooth

•1 c. Hershey’s chocolate syrup (gradually add to cream cheese)

Fold in 8 oz. Cool Whip. Add the chocolate layer onto the crumbs. Sprinkle another 1/3 of crumbs on the chocolate layer. Slice 1/2 gallon strawberry ice cream to put on top of chocolate layer (slice about 1-inch thick). Put remaining 1/3 of crumbs on top of strawberry ice cream. Freeze. Should be made 2 - 3 days ahead of time so it’s completely frozen.
