•1-1/2 lbs. boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips

•1 each medium green and sweet red peppers, julienne

•1 lrg. onion, thinly sliced

•3 Tbsp. vegetable oil

•2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

•5 to 6 French or Italian sandwich rolls, split

•5 to 6 slices Swiss cheese

•2 cans (4 oz. each) whole green chilies, drained and halved

In a large skillet, cook steak, peppers and onion in oil until meat reaches desired doneness and vegetables are soft. Spread butter on rolls; top with meat mixture, chilies and cheese. Wrap in heavy-duty foil. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Makes 5 - 6 servings
