•3 qts. cucumbers, peeled and sliced

•1 jar pimento (optional)

•1/2 c. canning salt

•4 onions, peeled and sliced

•2 c. vinegar

•1/2 bunch celery, chopped

•3 c. sugar

•1 green pepper, chopped

Combine vinegar, sugar and salt and heat until warm. Remove from heat and cool. Have vegetables in a large bowl. Pour brine over all and set aside over night. Then put into jars or freezer cartons, leaving 1 inch head space and freeze. To serve thaw at room temperature and add cream.
