To the Editor:
The annual MCCL fall tour will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. in the basement at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Little Falls. The one-hour meeting is designed to educate and empower citizens, inspiring them to help make a difference on life issues.
In a lawsuit filed in May, abortion advocates aim to overturn Minnesota’s informed consent and parental notification requirements. In Congress, abortion advocates have persistently blocked legislation to ensure protection of abortion survivors.
Presidential candidates now tout reparations for victims of slavery. Victims were “snatched” from their homes, used as human property owned by other humans, stripped of their freedoms and killed. The moral equivalent of what is happening with abortion is astounding. The day will come when America looks back on the innocent victims of abortion the same way, a dark mark on our history, but we can do something about it.
