Anthony “Tony” C. Rollins, age 29 of North Branch, died on Sunday, July 21, 2019 as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Harris. Tony was born on August 1, 1989 to parents, Ronald and Diane (Shogren) Rollins. He was raised in North Branch and attended North Branch Schools, graduating in 2007. Tony attended Century College and worked at the NAPA Store in North Branch and later at Anderson & Koch Ford in North Branch. He currently worked at Old Dominion Freight in Blaine, where he truly loved his job. Tony was a 10-year member of the North Branch Fire Department, where he currently was serving as the Safety Captain. Tony loved his time with the fire department and especially when he had the chance to burn houses down during trainings. He also loved fishing, hunting, cooking, motorcycles, working on cars and a good spirited conversation. Tony is survived by his parents, Ron and Diane of North Branch; sisters, Kate (Nathan) Khan of Crystal, Emily (Jake) Hawley of Stephen City, VA, Meagan Rollins of St. Paul and Grace Rollins of North Branch. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as his brothers and sisters on the North Branch Fire Department. Tony is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifford Rollins and Charlotte Connell and his maternal grandparents, Rodney and Eleanor Shogren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Maranatha Church in Forest Lake with Pastor Mike Haseltine officiating. Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26th at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch and also one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
