Officers from the North Branch Police Department and deputies from the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office conducted SWAT training at the former Fairview Hospital in Rush City on Aug. 28. The unit trains twice per month to be prepared to handle a variety of high-risk critical incidents. SWAT members are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is in addition to their regular duties and assignments.
