North Branch Economic Development Authority sells nine acres of land

The North Branch Economic Development Authority sold nine acres of land to the Andersen Corporation, just south of the business. A celebration on Dec. 15 included, from left, North Branch City Administrator Renae Fry and Mayor Jim Swenson; Lorraine Moeller, chair of North Branch Economic Development Authority; Bryce Buckles, manager of Andersen Corporation in North Branch; Carla Vita, community development director for the city of North Branch; and Linda Larson, director of real estate and administrative facilities for Andersen Corporation.

Buckles thanked the EDA for the opportunity to purchase the land for possible expansion of Andersen Corporation in the near future.

“Our business has grown tremendously,” Buckles said. “And what we support out of this plants are our Fiberx technology (we build) by Andersen business, and just seeing the growth of this complex business and all these wonderful employees we have that are experts in helping us make such a great product.” Photo by Sarv Mithaqiyan
