The North Chisago County Historical Society will host a public meeting at 7 p.m. on May 3 at the Rush City Community Center, 740 W. 14th St., Rush City.
Lin Strong, a well known local historian, will speak on the Arrowline Railroad which was proposed in the early 1900s to connect Stacy with Kost, Sunrise across the St. Croix River into Pine County and Superior, Wisconsin.
Was this a grand scam or was it just a plan gone wrong?
