Fairview Health Services has been recognized as one of Minnesota’s top employers by Forbes, a global media company. Fairview took the 16th spot in Minnesota out of 51 employers in the survey titled America’s Best-in-State Employers 2019.
“We are honored to receive this recognition and greatly appreciate that so many people are drawn to our mission to heal, discover and educate for longer, healthier lives,” said Carolyn Jacobson, Fairview’s chief human resources officer.
Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to select America’s Best-in-State Employers. The ranking was compiled through independent surveys from a vast sample of more than 80,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 people in their U.S. operations.
The surveys were administered in a series of anonymous online panels and provide a representative sample of the U.S. workforce. Employees were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Participants were also prompted to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.
This inaugural ranking by Forbes, which can be viewed at www.forbes.com/best-employers-by-state, is divided into 51 lists: one for each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia.
