The Cambridge Farmers Market will be held every Saturday through Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the City Center Market parking lot in Cambridge (122 N. Buchanan St.).

>North Branch Farmers Market

The North Branch Farmers Market will be held every Saturday through Oct. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Members Cooperative Credit Union parking lot in North Branch (on Eighth Avenue and Main Street).

Friday, Sept. 6

>North Branch Schools Grand Opening Celebration

North Branch Area Public Schools invites the public to attend a Grand Opening Celebration from 4-6 p.m. The Sunrise River School, middle school and high school will all be available to tour. There will be a time capsule dedication at 5 p.m. at the new high school fitness center, raffles at each site, treats by culinary students, donated free food and more.

Saturday, Sept. 7

>Peace Walk in Cambridge

The bi-monthly peace walk in Cambridge will take place at 9 a.m. The group meets in the parking lot at Highway 95 and Birch Street, and the walk takes about half an hour. They try to keep their messages positive, supporting equal rights and justice for all, protection of our environment and an end to violence. Anyone is welcome to join. They walk on the first and third Saturdays of every month.

>Oktoberfest at St. John’s German Lutheran Church

The 11th annual Oktoberfest, an annual fundraiser and community recognition event, will be held from 4-8 p.m. at the Historic St. John’s German Lutheran Church of Bradford, 900 County Road 5 NW, Isanti. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door. All proceeds go toward the upkeep and maintenance of the church. >Cambridge Customer Appreciation Event

The Cambridge Customer Appreciation Event will be held in downtown Cambridge from 4-8 p.m. Free hot dogs, brats, chips, apples, cake and ice cream will be served. There will also be a walking tour of historic Cambridge (leave post office at 6:30 p.m.), giveaways, fire and rescue display, Minnco magic show, dunk tank, live music, farmers market, bouncy house, kids games, balloon artist and a classic car show. Registration for the car show begins at 3 p.m. in front of the post office. No per-registration required.

>City Center Market Fall Picnic

City Center Market will host a Fall Picnic from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by for live music by the Jensen Sisters from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and fun kid’s activities like face painting and homemade bubbles.
