The second charity Anderson & Koch Ford donated $1,925 to was A Place For You. From left, Michelle Young, board member of a Place For You; Vicki VanderVegt, executive director of A Place For You. VanderVegt said the donation from Anderson & Koch Ford allows A Place For You to house single men and women who are experiencing homelessness, “to help them find their own housing. ... To help them get a fresh start in life.”

Anderson & Koch Ford in North Branch donated $1,925 to Family Pathways North Branch as part of “Stuff-A-Truck” food drive donation event that ended on Nov. 21. From left, Bill Young, owner of Anderson & Koch and Ford; Jennifer Baker, marketing and communications manager at Family Pathways; and Kari Jahnz, Internet sales manager of Anderson & Koch and Ford. Baker said the donation means a lot to the Family Pathways serves and every dollar that’s donated to the food shelf, “we can buy $7-worth of food, which makes such a difference to people who are really struggling to put food on the tables,” she said.
