The Dakota Valley Symphony and Chorus present “Colton Peltier and Choirs” 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, on the Ames Center main stage in Burnsville.

Pianist Colton Peltier joins music director/conductor Stephen J. Ramsey and the symphony for the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto, No. 1. A native of Hastings, Peltier has been studying piano since he was 3 years old and recently completed a master’s degree in piano performance at The Julliard School. He was a previous winner of the Dakota Valley Symphony Young Artists’ Competition.

Chorusmaster Tucker Moore, the Dakota Valley Chorus, and Hymnus with members of Northfield Youth Choir join the symphony for the joyful “Mass for the Children” by John Rutter.
