We’re Setting the Record for the Most Nordic Sweaters in One Room!

Come See Us Make History at the 35th Annual Nordic American Thanksgiving Breakfast

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

WHAT:            35th Annual Nordic American Thanksgiving Breakfast

Come support worthy Twin Cities organizations while also channeling your Nordic side and even joining a record-breaking effort! This year we’re eyeing a world record with our Nordic sweaters. The morning features a delicious Nordic-inspired breakfast as well as inspiring messages for the expected 900 attendees.

The Nordic American Thanksgiving Breakfast was founded by Sons of Norway in 1985. As always, Sons of Norway’s mission is to bring together people of Nordic heritage in celebration of freedom, faith, family and friends. You won’t want to miss this special holiday tradition of thankfulness, community and giving. This year’s event will benefit the Minnesota Military Family Foundation, Second Harvest Heartland, and Sons of Norway Foundation. Please help support these charities by attending and donating at the breakfast. Last year’s event alone raised nearly $23,000 for charitable causes.

About Sons of Norway

Sons of Norway, an international cultural organization headquartered in Minneapolis, began with shared values and a simple promise of financial security when like-minded people came together to protect their families, celebrate their culture and strengthen their community. For 124 years, we’ve lived our mission to promote and preserve the heritage and culture of Norway, celebrate our relationships with other Nordic countries and provide quality insurance and financial products to our members. Now 50,000 members strong, we play an active role in communities throughout North America and Norway.
