Bert Dibley passed away peacefully at the VA hospital in St. Cloud, Minn. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. He was born Oct. 1, 1926 in Breckenridge, Minn., to Roy and Lola Lapham Dibley. Shortly after that, he moved with his parents and sister to Caledonia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 71 years from Brooklyn Park, Minn., sons Charles and wife of Vermillion, S.D., Terry and wife of Maple Grove, Minn., Douglas and wife of Seattle, Wash., daughter Pat and husband of Edina, Minn., grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several neices and nephews, two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Leland of Stockton, Calif., and Stuart of Eitzen, Minn.

Memorial services will be held on November 15, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Monticello, Minn., at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date at the Portland Prairie Methodist Cemetery in rural Caledonia.
