Tundra Swans migrating south

What an amazing opportunity to witness the impressive concentration of thousands of tundra swans on their migratory route south. Each fall, the Mississippi River valley becomes a migration corridor as the swans move from their northern summer homes to warmer, southern wintering grounds. These pictures were taken Sunday afternoon, November 21, about two miles south of Brownsville.
