The Nunnery is a solo act of Sarah Elstran. She creating melding meditative, lush soundscapes with layered vocal loops and catchy hooks. More of an experience than just a sound, The Nunnery’s somewhat-improvised performances are informed by the spaces in which they occur, and her live shows often incorporate other forms of art such as live visual projections.ListentoTheNunneryh ere.“Myhopeisthatthesesongsandperformances give you a sense of peace, a space to understand your own heart.”
Little Works is a dance collective consisting of Maria Tordoff, Marissa Jax, Emma Call and Amelia Morris. Each member holds a BFA in dance and choreography from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As a collective we find great joy in collaborating with other artists and have built an ever-accumulating community in the Twin Cities. We value and treat all movement occurrences as an opportunity to heal on an interpersonal and societal level.
