Join us at Caledonia’s first community Farm to Table event. An Evening from the Farm, brought to you by the newly formed Celebrate Caledonia Committee. Our goal is to showcase our locally grown food while raising money for a good community cause.
‘An Evening from the Farm’ will be held at the Houston County Fairgrounds on September 14, 2019. The proceeds of the event will be donated to the new Youth Livestock Building project at the fairgrounds to help support our future producers of America. It will not only help our local youth in Caledonia, but in Houston County as a whole. We feel it’s a great way to give back and make a positive difference in our community.
The evening will include a delicious locally sourced full course meal. 100 tickets will be available on a first come/first serve basis at $50.00 each. Tickets include appetizers, salad, a main course, dessert, and one drink ticket. Also included in the ticket price is a donation towards the Youth Livestock Building Project. Social hour starts at 5:00 pm. Dinner to be served at 6:00 pm.
Everyone we’ve talked to about the upcoming event has been very supportive. Individuals, civic groups, various committees as well as businesses are willing to partner with us to make this special event a reality! Any additional support would be greatly appreciated. Anyone wishing to further contribute in any way is welcome to contact the lead committee members, Marian Gavin, Ann Gallup, and Polly Heberlein.
Tickets will go on sale only at the Wired Rooster in Caledonia starting July 15. Cash, check or credits cards welcome.
We hope to see you at the fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept 14th to enjoy the evening.
