Houston County 4-H Intermediate Dairy Judging Team Competes at MN State Fair Contest

The Houston County 4-H Intermediate Dairy Judging Team was the 1st place Overall Intermediate team and 2nd Intermediate team in Reasons at the Minnesota State Fair 4-H Dairy Judging competition. 

Katie Klug was 7th overall and 12th in reasons, Garrett Waldenberger was 10th overall and 13th in reasons, Tyler Hosheit was 13th overall and 7th in reasons, and Addison Turner was 19th overall and 4th in reasons. 

There were a total of 12 Intermediate teams and 41 Individuals at the Minnesota State Fair 4-H Dairy Judging competition. 

Carter Burrichter participated as a Senior Individual. Other coaches to the team are Darrel Klug, Aaron Houdek, Myriah Klug, Amanda Rud and Kendra Waldenberger. 

This summer, the team practiced judging at the Devoine & Linda Kruse Farm, the Dan & Cheryl Wiste Farm, the Wayne & Kris Houdek Farm, the Fillmore County Fair contest (placing 2nd), the Steve & Ann Klug Farm, the Fred Williams Farm and the John & Karyl Diersen Farm.
