Goats to the rescue

A flock of goats has completed it’s first tour of duty at Sprague Woods park in Caledonia,  where the animals were put to work eliminating invasive plants. Public works/zoning director Casey Klug told the council that the animals “did their job,”  during their first grazing session. A small number of goats will be brought back for a follow-up visit to the area in about a month, he added.
