The Ramsey City Council approved a preliminary plat for 27 attached townhomes in Rivenwick Village.

The neighborhood’s fourth addition is about 7.2 acres south of Highway 10, north of Riverdale Drive and west of Jaspar Street and is zoned for mixed-use PUD. 

The northern three acres of the development is being reserved for commercial or retail use, Deputy City Administrator Brian Hagen said. LGI will sell the land to a commercial developer for that part of the project, according to a representative of LGI.

Staff asked the developer, LGI Homes, to install a sidewalk on both sides of 139th Lane and to the west side of Jaspar Street, as well as connecting a proposed private street to Jaspar Street.
