HOPE 4 Youth President and CEO Lisa Jacobson

After raising thousands of dollars for homeless you, local nonprofit HOPE 4 Youth hopes to raise even more soon or the president will be left out in the cold.

The nonprofit hopes to raise an additional $111,000 by Dec. 27. If not, President Lisa Jacobson will go out in the cold until the goal is achieved.

Jacobson will be hosted by Paul Spitzley and the Ole Piper Inn in Blaine.

HOPE 4 Youth recently raised $60,000 during its Out in the Cold 4 Youth campaign. More that 250 people volunteered to spend an hour outside in the cold collecting donations from passersby.

HOPE 4 Youth is a nonprofit headquartered in Coon Rapids and serves youth experiencing homelessness by providing hot meals, hot showers, clothing, food, hygiene products, laundry facilities, computer and internet access, and case management.

Donations can be made online at bit.Ly/2Re84jm or via mail by sending donations to HOPE 4 Youth, 2191 Northdale Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55443.
