To the editor:
The fact that a small portion of our population wants to celebrate the active sexual life style of the LGBTQ community, does not justify it. I will start by saying that some people will call me hateful, homophobic, racist and many other terms. But those people are coming from a secular world point of view not from a Christian biblical view.
I have to go with my core beliefs, which are directed by the word of the Christian triune God and common sense. Refer to Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, Genesis 19 and the New Testament, 1 Timothy 1:10, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Romans 1:24-27.
Support for the LGBTQ to physically act out the LGBTQ lifestyle offends not only me and my Christian God, but also the Jewish God and the Muslim God. That is a significant portion of the world population. God instituted the practice of “marriage” and is insulted by any culture allowing so-called gay marriage.
Looking just at a secular view the LGBTQ lifestyle exposes so many problems for them and the community. Sexually transmitted disease, being one of them.
The best foundation for a family is a man and woman. Just ask yourself what arrangement is best to bring up a child, a married couple consisting of a man and a woman or an LGBTQ arrangement. Even if the LGBTQ arrangement does not involve a child, it sets a terrible lifestyle example for a family. If a person is struggling with an active physical LGBTQ life style and is unable to change, then the next best thing is for that person to remain single. It is not wrong to be tempted, but it is wrong to act out that temptation.
The causes for people becoming active in a LGBTQ lifestyle may vary, but their condition can be repaired. What is disappointing is that some of those who are straight encourage and brag about this condition instead of helping the LGBTQ people with their problem.
