A home invasion incident at a Coon Rapids residence the early hours of June 4 is under investigation by the Coon Rapids Police Department.
According to the police report, a 61-year-old woman called police about 1 a.m. about three suspects kicking in a backdoor and entering her home on the 11700 block of Magnolia Street NW.
One of them pointed a gun at multiple people in the house asking where a 23-year-old man was and when the suspects were told he was not there, they left, but the male pointed the gun at a 23-year-old woman when she followed the suspects into the yard, the police report states.
The suspects left in a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, eastbound on 117th Lane, but officers were unable to locate them or the vehicle when they checked the area.
The man, who carried a black semi-automatic handgun, was described as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, muscular build with light facial hair and wearing a black stocking cap, black zip-up sweater with light-colored stripes, according to the police report.
The second suspect was described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavyset with brown hair and wearing a black baseball cap and a black hoodie with writing on it. The third suspect was a white male, 6 feet tall, skinny, and wearing a black T-shirt with writing and white shorts, according to the police report.
