Northtown Mall hosted the third annual Sensitive Bunny event April 7 in Blaine.

The Sensitive Bunny event provided children with disabilities a sensory-friendly area where they could meet the Easter Bunny. The event sought to be more controlled and comfortable for children through reduction in sensory stimuli including muted lights, music and activity tables to avoid waiting in line to meet the Easter Bunny.

Keepsake photo packages were available for purchase. The Autism Society of America also sold stuffed animals at the event. A therapy dog was present to comfort children as they waited.

Northtown Mall hosts a similar event called Sensitive Santa during the holiday season.
